What We Do
Healing Reins provides people of all ages and abilities opportunities for emotional and physical healing through a range of professionally recognized therapeutic services. Each week, more than 250 children, teens, and adults participate across our full spectrum of programs.
Our equine-assisted services are led by PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructors. In addition, we offer farm-based mental health clinical services on-site six days a week with a full team of licensed therapists, as well as pediatric ranch-based occupational therapy. Supported by more than 200 dedicated volunteers and strong collaboration within the medical community, Healing Reins delivers safe, effective, and meaningful care to our community.

How Our Programs Work
Healing Reins is not a typical treatment setting, which is exactly why it works! We partner with clients, caregivers, medical professionals, mental health providers and local agencies to offer a unique team approach to healing and recovery. Professionally certified staff are assisted by 100+ weekly community volunteers who are specially trained to provide safe and effective rehabilitative services. Healing Reins serves 190+ children, teens and adults each week throughout the year and has recently established our own on-site mental health clinic.
Current Career Opportunities:
Adaptive Riding Instructor (Full-Time/Part-Time Options)
The position is responsible for teaching equine-assisted activities to children, teens and adults with physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral challenges in a adaptive riding center environment.

Licensed or Associate Level Mental Health Clinician for Equine Assisted Mental Health (EAMH) Role:
The position is responsible for delivering impactful equine-assisted mental health sessions and will manage a caseload based on your availability with Healing Reins.

Meet our Healing
Herd of Horses
The equine members of our team are hugely important to us and are chosen very carefully. The ideal therapy horse is sound and unflappable, with a been-there-done-that attitude. Our herd members have had careers in dressage, high school equestrian teams, trail riding, ranch work, and more. Miles and experience add up to the quiet, assured horses our participants need.
